At Taw & Torridge Scaffolding Ltd safety is paramount. We want to ensure that all work carried out meets the very latest guidelines and legislation. Our experienced professionals have undergone extensive training and are issued with protective equipment at all times. Further to being Health and Safety compliant we also have a Scafftag System in use. Our structures on-site are assessed weekly in order to ensure the environment remains safe.


Qualified employees

All of our employees are fully trained and experienced in dealing with all types of projects – domestic, commercial and industrial.

We don't employ temporary staff, so you can be assured that everyone working on your scaffolding is qualified to the required standards.

All of our materials are inspected on a regular basis to ensure they conform to the very highest standards and to maintain the safest possible working environment for our staff and customers.

TG20-13 Compliant Scaffolding

All scaffolding erected by Taw & Torridge Scaffolding Ltd is compliant with TG20-13, which ensures that all designs comply with current industry standards. TG20-13 design drawings are also provided when necessary.

TG20-13 is a detailed guide of national standards, providing in depth instructions for the safe use of scaffolding. This includes erection and setup, considerations such as wind exposure and weight calculations. The guide covers a range of equipment including mobile scaffold towers, ladder access towers and independent scaffolding.

We hold extensive insurance specifically designed for our scaffolding services. Not only does this provide financial compensation in the event of an accident, but also holds us to stringent health and safety requirements, giving you complete peace of mind of our commitment to safety.

We are insured to work at heights of up to 30 metres and all of our employees are strictly monitored to make sure they comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) clause.
